About Our Club

Midwest Country Connection was formed in July of 1991 and is a Missouri not-for-profit corporation. The club operates under its bylaws with an elected Board of Directors and Executive Officers. All operations of the club are accomplished by the generous donation of time by the members.

Since the club was established, thousands of people have been involved. Our membership list is over 1,900 with over 100 currently active members.

All dance instruction is provided by members, several of whom are members of the NTA (National Teachers Association), an international organization of teachers helping teachers

Midwest Country Connection is proud of the number of members who actively participate as officers, instructors, or generally assist in club activities. These members contribute their time and talent with no reward other than the appreciation of all who benefit from their hard work. A few of the groups that provide continuing assistance, without which the club would not exist.
